Thank You - to Matthew Ideus for the special music today.

 

United in marriage Saturday evening were Nicole Buol and David Kraus here in Zion Church. May God’s love sustain and bless their union.

 

Next Sunday - Pastor Doug Allen will be here, as Pastor Schwandt & Mary go west to see two of the children and families, not seen in their home for several years.

 

THE MISSION CONTINUES…The 9 youth that went on the SYNOD Mission Trip would like to continue the Mission in our community. If you or if you know of someone that might need some help with a project they are able and willing. There are clip boards in the back on the tables for sign up or you may contact Megan Gronewold or Cassie Thornburg or Marcia Busboom.

 

Special Anthems, vocal & instrumental, for summer worship services are invited to volunteer their talents. Pieces with spiritual intent are desired.

Copies of Pastor Schwandt’s Mid-year Report can be found on the back tables in both hallways of the church.

 

TEACHERS MEETINGS:

Sunday, August 1st after Church!

This includes: Confirmation Teachers

7th & 8th Grade Sunday School Teachers

and Parish Ed to discuss the 2010 year.

 

Sunday, August 15th after Church!

Sunday School Teachers and Substitutes will meet to receive fall material

and have refresher lesson of material to be covered each Sunday and memory

work requirements. Plan on 30-45 minuntes.

 

7th & 8th GRADE CONFIRMATION

When: Wednesday, August 25th at 7:00 PM

Where: Parish Hall

Who: Parents, Students, Teachers and Parish Ed

What: Meeting to review expectations and requirements for the 2010-2011

Confirmation year. If parents or students are not able to make it, please

contact a Parish Ed member prior to the meeting. Thanks!
